Inspired by a Plantation Style aesthetic,
this kitchen's mahogany cabinets have rich, dark colors, but
with clean, more modern lines. The door and drawer fronts
have beaded frames, and are stained and glazed in a deep brown
color, while the inset panels are ebonized and provide a nice
contrast with simple, yet elegant detailing.
The
twenty-one foot long island's gentle curve is set at an angle
to the marble floors rectangular pattern. Double mahohany
columns support the overhang of the island's raised bar top.
Columns
appear again, flanking the stainless steel refrigerator and
freezer, as well as the featured Glass Cabinet. A 3"
thick mahogany display shelf, with back lighting appears to
float on the tiled walls. Matching wall paneling, and mahogany
louvered pantry doors complete the visage.
